I've had this ruby in my stash for years, not quite sure how to use it. But it reminds me subtly of a heart, which made it seem a perfect fit for this piece and this particular poem by e.e. cummings:

Sterling silver 3 page book with a type-written font. Approximately 1.25" long and 1" wide on a on a 24" paperclip chain with handmade clasp. Please note, the colors in the stone are not as saturated in real life as they are in the images, and is closes to the first image. I had a hard time getting a photo to capture the true colors!
